About me

I am a Registered Clinical Counsellor (RCC) with the British Columbia Association of Clinical Counsellors (BCACC; Member #19162). I provide counselling for youth and adults with specific training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) which focuses on eliminating the negative effects of past traumas. I also provide counselling to couples who may be struggling with frequent conflicts and arguments, poor communication, feelings of emotional distance, and more using the Gottman Method. I work through a person-centered lens by coming from a place of non-judgement and guidance as you start to work through your thoughts and feelings and build a better understanding of yourself by creating self-acceptance which will enhance your own healing and personal growth.

I have experience working with individuals suffering with addiction, anxiety, life transitions etc. within community organizations. In addition, I have also supported numerous individuals within a clinical setting supporting them through trauma, anxiety, depression and other struggles.  My passion lies with helping individuals live their true authentic self by tailoring my approach to meet your individual needs and goals you would like to accomplish.

I am covered through ICBC and First Nation Health Authority.
